cPanel or vDeck: Which is Better?

Although reviews are mixed (mostly because the interface is harder to learn), it does provide better benefits to professionals. vDeck is complicated, but it is very in depth — perfect for any big e-commerce site.

This is why most cPanel users refuse to use vDeck. vDeck’s format is unfamiliar and tricky, a huge drawback to vDeck’s success. Thank you for your info. Homestly, this is the first time I know about vDeck and it seems more handy for the owner of the ecommerce website to create more features. I use cPanel but I found its complicated even for business website. Theres a lot of tools that they have, but its very useful if you have a large variety of files that you have to manage. And I’m not handy with Tikiwiki. So maybe I will try vDeck someday.
Just a slight correction, cPanel does come with osCommerce. It is listed in the Site Software section of the cPanel interface.
If you do not see the Site Software icon, please update to the X3 theme, our newest cPanel theme. The older X and X2 themes should no longer be used as they will become fully deprecated in version 12.
Learning cPanel is an essential skill. Don’t take chances and learn these skills from someone that is already successful at it. It can be easy to earn and a powerful addition to your web hosting skills. Installing scripts and uploading files to your web site are easy.
The article was very much useful. Actually i took a long time to work with cpanel. And now vdeck seems to be great. With the features listed here, am sure it is the next generation cpanel for most of the web masters. The world needs change and here is the change. Am sure this will change the face of web masters working.
I have experienced with both cpanel and vdeck. They both are good but I would prefer cpanel instead of vdeck if I can choose only one. cpanel control panel user interface is much easier to understand than vdeck control panel which look much complex.
cpanel is absolute better than vdeck. cpanel does offer a great user interface while vdeck does not. cpanel offer a flexible mamangement while vdeck cannot be compared. plesk may even better than vdeck if you ask me. recommend cpanel and stay away from vdeck!!
I am new to VDeck. Do anyone tell me in VDeck Panel, does it have a MX record entry for user to change? cause this feature I am sure that cPanel has. So how about VDeck?
