Apollo’s basic plan is available for $6.97 per month on a 24-month contract. This plan is limited in comparison to offers from other companies with 50 GB of storage and 500 GB of bandwidth. You have the ability to host 20 domains, unlimited sub-domains and are provided a generous 500 email accounts. The biggest drawback to this plan is the lack of e-commerce tools as your account is only compatible with a PayPal shopping cart. More functionality can be added with their Business and E-commerce Pro packages which get rather expensive at $13.97 and $20.97 per month respectively.

Apollo provides its customers with the intuitive Plesk control panel. While the features of the basic plan are limited in regard to e-commerce, you still have control over various critical aspects such as webmail, the Mailbox Cop spam filter and the Plesk Application Vault, a program that is similar in functionality to cPanel’s Fantastico. This software lets you install a range of scripts from the Mambo CMS to B2evolution blogging software. Plesk ensures that managing the features of your hosting account is a breeze.

One area Apollo definitely isn’t lacking in is support. This company keeps a team of trained professionals on deck 24/7 to answer your questions. Aside from around the clock support via phone, email and live chat, they also provide assistance with Quickstart guides, a knowledgebase, online manuals, video tutorials and a community forum. All of these factors attribute to Apollo’s ability to provide their clients with world-class support.

As a whole, Apollo offers a pretty good value for your money. We would just like to see a little more packed into the basic plan, especially in the e-commerce department. The low amount of bandwidth and storage may also be a turn off for some, making this option more suited for users with a low volume of traffic.
