A couple of months ago I added an account with awardspace and have been impressed so far; a very different experience than other hosts I've worked with. They're not perfect: recently I hit a (non-major) problem caused by a configuration mistake on their server and it took a few rounds of emails and technical details to persuade them that the problem was on their end. But they were very polite and responsive throughout the process, and they did resolve it in the end, in around 24 hours total time. The 3 other support questions I've submitted were resolved well and amazingly quickly; in two cases I had a response and resolution within the hour. The c-panel only lacks Parked domain feature! But who cares? Even if the main domain is set to another NS we can use CNAME to add a subdomain to awardspace. Even on free hosting it gives 5 alias which is more than enough! Unlike its competing hosts like 07x and byethost which gives loads of diskspace and bandwidth but a bad server, awardspace is excellent for hosting non or low profit sites or even to share our first php scripts!! Quite cool! In fact personally I am so much impressed that I am willing to buy premium hosting soon :). Also the support team is very much active. I got my domain related query solved within 20 mins of opening a new ticket. The c-panel only lacks Parked domain feature! But who cares? Even if the main domain is set to another NS we can use CNAME to add a subdomain to awardspace. Even on free hosting it gives 5 alias which is more than enough! Unlike its competing hosts like 07x and byethost which gives loads of diskspace and bandwidth but a bad server, awardspace is excellent for hosting non or low profit sites or even to share our first php scripts!! Quite cool! In fact personally I am so much impressed that I am willing to buy premium hosting soon :) . Also the support team is very much active. I got my domain related query solved within 20 mins of opening a new ticket. Over all 5 out of 5
