I love fatcow. I think their prices are reasonable and their domain names are very cheap. I agree with the article with regards to the one time fee. Sometimes one just likes to try out a host for a few months before continuing to register for a year or more.
Fatcow support is superb!! I really liked how they handle with customer problems. Their Moo staff has a great mind service. You can ask them every question and all of them will be answred without any bull. They also offer 24×7 phone support as well.
FatCow is a webhosting site that delivers! The rate is great and the customer support is fantastic. You get instant responses and they wont disappoint you. The humour is an addition which helps put you in a good mood. Overall, a 5!
I have personally tried FatCow, and it didnt disappoint. The reliability is the best thing as you do not need to worry about your site going down. The price value is great, as the hosting fees are cheap and so are the domains! Highly recommended.
FatCow is a great webhosting site, and it never disappoints! The prices are cheap( $78/year with free domain!) and the service is good. It never goes down and the humour that they put really lightens you up
Fatcow hosting support and uptime is great. Even their price not that cheap but still worth every cents you have paid.
This site provides excellent services and superlative customer support. The only thing that I do not like is paying annually for my hosting. With the nature of my business, I am always tossing up new sites that may be around only a matter of weeks. I would prefer to pay monthly for my hosting needs.
I have tried FatCow, and only moved away because i no longer needed shared services. They seem to be a pretty good team, nice reliable servers handling a fair load, and nice friendly support, which is a dealbreaker for me.
They also support PHP5, which is brilliant, a lot of other major hosts refuse to support it, which annoyed me immensely, until I started running my own servers.
I have heard so many bad things about this company, I do not think that I would even waste my time on checking that much into these guys. I read the posts here that only have good things to say, but wanted to share the experience of others as well.
Just wanted to say – the UNLIMITED SUBDOMAINS stated above seems to be wrong.
I was just about to sign up with FatCow, then I asked the tech support whether SUBDOMAINS are included and free and I found out to my shock that you pay 1$ per month per sub-domain!
I thoroughly enjoy what they have to offer and the price is so amazing for the service they give you. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs a hosting company to start your website with. Using this service has been great for my business.

Fat Cow web hosting is just that: a fat cow of hosting companies. Fat because we give it money, and cow because, well, they act like one. They never answer their phones, the websites are almost always down, I just don’t understand how they’re still in business. Anyways, avoid at all costs.
Hi bad_cow. What is the actual of your URL that hosted with Fatcow? Can you give us more details? Can you ever give a name of representative whom response your question? I have used them for a few years and never interfere with any horror stories of the support by Moocrew. I am not working with them nor have anything to do with them but I always wonder with anyone who just come and posted to discredit other company without facts backed up.
I am also surprised to read the comments made by bad cow. I have been a regular client of Fat Cow for two years now and I have been extremely satisfied by their service, price quality ratio and their customer service department. I have used other hosts in the past and this is the first time that I have been really pleased with my web host service.
Great web hosting solution. FatCow web hosting is my favorite web hosting provider from all the other providers. Besides the control panel, which isn’t top notch, the rest is brilliant. Love it.
I have had mixed experiences with FatCow in the year or so that I have been their customer. I do find that they are a bit expensive when compared to other similar packages with other hosting companies. Their customer support does reply to my questions but it can often take a bit of time.

This Fat Cow Web Hosting experience in web hosting solutions was incredible for me. I’ve never witnessed such superiority when it came to great service, beautiful price and excellent reliability. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Don’t go for the big names, go for the small and excellent.
Oh boy, they’re really good, don’t have anything bad to say to them. Their customer support was high as a kite, they’re always there when you need them. Also, they’re incredibly reliable and their services are extremely strong. Overall, I give them 5 out of 5 stars, because I can’t say that I’ve found something better.

Not only it’s good for business saying that your website has a fat cow hosting, but the guys actually deliver on their promises. So what if they were down yesterday? They work great now, and that’s all I care about. To work NOW!
I have to be fair… ALL hosting services likely go down at times, so maybe Fatcow is no different (or better) than others. When down, their customer support actually took time to help me work on another issue (how to import/store webmail on my computer) which I appreciated much.

I’m gonna say this right now, this is EXACTLY what hosting is about! Exactly. I’ve never had any major problems, and any problems I have are answered quickly, easily, and, this made me want to faint, professionally.
Best part was, the customer service people don’t know the weather in Mumbai, because they’re not outsourced to somewhere in the Middle East where my name is a slur against their entire bloodlines.
And by the way, they do keep to that oath, I was on the phone waiting for 10 minutes, and after getting the help I wanted, I found that they gave me a free month of hosting and I didn’t even have to ask them. They honestly go above and beyond on this particular company.
Even though they don’t seem to take things seriously, they actually do. I’ve yet to call them on their oath because I have gotten nothing but first-class service from them. The one time I had an actual issue, it was sorted out within the hour I made my complaint. Stellar service.
Fatcow “HeiferCratic Oath” is great. Their support do like as advertised, even I have rarely time use them but they always fast response. This is critical point that kept me here. Not every hosting company can capable on equal services and Fatcow does it. Five / five is reasonable.
Fatcow is worth for every cents I have paid. They are, at least, kept promised on service they are offering. They were always promptly fixes my problem which occured in rarely time. I am with them for five months and will continue use them as long as they keep a level of service.
I love this company. Plain and simple. Not only is the service superb, it’s reasonably priced. I would stick with them even if the price was doubled, that’s how good they are.

As a normal homepage owner I have to say this company offers all I need for it. I was never disapointed when calling them. The only thing I have problems with is the control panel and I am not quite sure if this is my or their fault.
Though the customer service people weren’t able to help much with a handful of problems I caused myself, that’s to be expected. Otherwise, they did manage to give some good advice on how to easily revert my settings in case I broke something.

This company is the best! No bull indeed, I get someone from customer service right away, they actually speak English as a first language. They also help me with my site, and one of them was able to direct me to some good sites for HTML and CSS tutorials.
I have been with fatcow since december 2008 and all I can say is they are superb. They are as advertised about their services. Their downtime is much less than I expected compare to the price they are offering. If you focus on business or ecommerce solution, this is the right place. If you focus multimedia this company may not for you.

I just switched from suck hosting company. They are reputable but they denied to give me a refund within 30 days period they promised. They claimed it is not their fault and I won’t get anything back or else I would even lose a backup if I continue to ask them for a refund. That is a nightmare then I had to switched to Fatcow.
From march 08 with Fatcow I am always please with their services. They are promtly to respond all my needed assistant without hassle. They are as good as advertised and the uptime is excellent. From my experiences, the services is the most important part for not-a-guru like me. All excellent features will be uselessif the services staff is suck! I recommend you to check out service feedbacks from real user and make your own conclusion instead of judge by only company reputation. I had a mistake by choose my first hosting company based on theri reputation without reading how suck they are, especially after got your money. I am stick with Fatcow not only because of their service but their price is awesome. It’s worth eveny cents I paid. 5/5 and two thumbs up

I had signed up Fatcow following the recommendation from peoples here since Jan 09. Here is my personal review.
Before I signed up, I though “Shoud I plug myself to this host?” because I had to pay for yearly. The price is not a big deal. The longer period you paid, the more money you can save. However, there is nothing to lose since they offer 30 days money back.
So I signed up with them and set up a 20 wordpress blogs generated with my custom scripts to see how reliability they are. Suprprisingly, I have had no problem. But three days later one of my blog is completely losts due to my mistake. I have contacted Fatcow support and they have threaten me politely than I ever expected. They had resolved my problem within a few minutes since they have a backup of my data , luckily the data is just about a few hours before the site losts. My blog has completely recovered.
What I do really like is their support. They do know what they are doing, plus a service mind that rarely found these days. They did not threat me like a dumb when I asked many silly questions. Their services is an excellent as advertised. 5/5 without a doubt.
I just signed up with fatcow about 8 days ago. all things seem smooth but it just the beginning. I will post an honest review again in the next 3 month, around August 25, 2009.
The review from each one is different based on the experiences they had. I have a good experience with fatcow but a little diff from others. Their price is reasonable and the services is great. But sometimes is a downtime due to site overload. I understand but I have a little more expect for my 400 sites. But still, Fatcow is a good hosting company.

Fatcow is an average hosting company if you ask me. My $0.02
they have excelletn customer support, excellent price, i signed for only $3.50 per month. Excellent customer service that help me sort out payment through paypal, which wasn’t on their list for that price. Excellent support after I started using their service.
This is only my first month with them, I hope that they will improve further on their control panel as it is not as user friendly as many other options like cpanel etc. Keep up with the quality of customer service, that’s extremely important for internet business.
I have been with fatcow since 2008 and all I can say is awesome!! My site has much less downtime compared to the some hosting company my site hosted with them. Great support but cp should have some improvement. It got me blinded and took time before learned how to use them properly.
Very good company but is must definetely improve their customer support.

I have registered with fatcow since last year. My username is diazmonie. They have a great support as advertised. My site has rarely downtime with them and the support staff know what they are doing. My site caused a serious problem with my own mistake when I modified some htaccess and the staff saved me with backup. Good and smooth running. 4/5

Fatcow offers a good hosting and excellent customer support. Their support as good as advertised. It’s good for newbie like me, especially when I was struggled installing Joomla. They helped me get through with fast response and useful advice. I really recommend this host if you are newbie and you may prefer a quality support . However, if you prefer the best in control panel then this one may not be an option for you.

fatcow is a good hosting, especially for newbie. THeir support is always keep in touch when you asked for help. The only disadvantage I’ve seen is they have some restricted on the script you can installed. If you have home made script and not sure you should ask them to get a trial before purchase it!
Well, it is always interesting to see companies that take a good thing and start to tear it apart. On December 1st, 2009, Fatcow implemented new access that disabled mobile phones that were previously working and accessing their Fatcow email accounts. This included exchange licenses that were purchased by users in 2009 and being accessed from iPhones. All of this was done so that Fatcow could charge additional new fees for mobile access. Now, why would anyone disable clients access like that? I can tell you this, what I thought was a good company has turned into a nightmare. Watch for new fees to pop up at any time if you setup an account with them.
