ipage is good one and even better than Yahoo hosting. I do not understand why ipage is not list in top 10. Why Yahoo has a place in top 10? They are worse host and should be remove already.
I’m newbie and know nothing about coding, just wanted to have personal portfolio website. I had signed up with iPage because my friend recommend. He has his account with iPage and impress with the support team. That is what newbie like me wanted as well.
iPage support staff helped me through set up process step by step until everything settled, only 30 minutes!! I figured this would take at least hour or two, or even longer. 30 minutes was awesome and show how skillful of iPage support staff.
If you are newbie like me, go with iPage. You won’t be treated like a dumb ass or a fools but valued customer.
I have to thanks with technical support from ipage. They had found my website was hacking by a Russian hacker. He tried to access root folder and hack my admin page. ipage support successfully prevented that hack attempt. I have no idea what was going on until a message from them. I have been advised about my website loop hole caused the issued and ways to fix them.

iPage support was impressed me. I called technical support once at 3 a.m. when I found my blog messed up, I did change on template like “here” and “there” without knowledge. I did not hope someone would picking up my call at that time. I thought “how the hell if someone would be there at that time!”
Surprise!! My call was picked up and I couldn’t believe it myself. They were friendly and helpful and my problem had been fixed for only 10 minutes!! ipage support is quality as advertised.

This was a really nice product in my opinion. The price wasn’t all that great in my opinion, but I think that everything worked the way it was supposed to. Interface and reliability were really good. I have no problems to report at this time.

I found iPage through cNet. Cnet’s rating said you could complete your transaction completely online. Not true. They didn’t have a function to open an account unless you register a new domain or want to transfer a domain. No. I control the domains. I’ve been burned way too many times when I want to transfer.
So, I took cNet’s word, and contacted iPage. The only time I ever reached them was to give them a credit card number. I never received an email with login info, I never was able to reach a human on the phone, I tried their “chat” but no one home…I sent them two emails from their form…and nothing.
It’s four days later, and I found another host. I have to dispute the charges with my credit card.
Thanks iPage. You suck.
