It is unclear whether or not IPower is related to iPowerWeb, but there are many similarities when comparing their home pages. The sites are laid out in similar fashion, and even the pictures are quite similar. IPower web hosting sits on this top ten list exactly even with iPowerWeb in relation to what is offered for the price. The company offers their customers 1,500 GB of disk space and 15,000 GB of bandwidth for the price of $7.95 per month. Like iPowerWeb, IPower boasts an expansive customer base of over 700,000. Their service and support is identical.

Facilities include top of the line equipment including the latest BGP, which has the ability to provide multiple bandwidth and the fastest network speed, ensuring a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Just like iPowerWeb, IPower offers decent services for the price. Other companies, though, are now offering the same services and more features, but charge up to two dollars less per month. The disk space and bandwidth offered by IPower are practically standard now, with the exception of just a few companies who have not yet grown to keep up with the times. Claims of over 700,000 domains hosted leads one to believe some savings could be passed on to the customer.

Again, like iPowerWeb, IPower uses vDeck as their control panel. Although user friendly and used by thousands of IPower customers, cPanel appears to be the industry favorite with its all-encompassing and easier to use interface. vDeck, which was designed and customized by iPowerWeb, has six main functions that can be accessed by clicking on the associated tabs.

Customer service and support are excellent with IPower, who pride themselves on customer satisfaction. They offer numerous avenues by which to contact them, including 24/7 telephone and e-mail support, live chat, and FAQ’s. They go to great lengths to problem solve and resolve technical issues, and their sheer number of clients is testament that they know a thing or two about providing outstanding service.
Overall Value (4/5)
The main thing holding this company back from achieving higher rankings is the fact that they charge more to provide the same services as other, less expensive companies. Their storage space and bandwidth are standard in the industry, as are their add-on features. IPower offers great customer support and innovative ideas, but there are better deals to be found out there that offer the same or better web hosting capabilities.
