“I just signed up for a 3-yr account less than 10 days ago and have had constant connection/downtime problems. In fact, it’s been down all day today and I’m trying to get my website online. I cannot get ftp access or even access my control panel online.”
I think the prices being offered by WebhostingPad is just too great. Just $3.95 for unlimited bandwidth, unlimited space and unlimited domains. Honestly, that is one of the best offers I have come across. I think they offer a great service for an incredibly low fee.
Justin4 thats really bad that you have just signed up a 3 year contract with them yet their service uptime is poor. I haven’t hosted with them before but I’ve been checking their site and saw that their prices are very low. How long have you been having downtimes. How long have you been hosting with them before signing up a 3 year contract?
After reading the article, I went to check out the site of Web hosting Pad. Contrary to the article I think they do offer live telephone support. I am not sure how reliable the support is because I have not tried it yet. I do like the unlimited features they offer and thier prices are really low.
Justin4, I am hosting my site with Web Hosting Pad as well but I haven’t had any problems with it. My site is up and running, I am not sure why you are having problems. Before signing up the 3 year contract, you must have surely tested their services and it was ok. I guess that is the reason why anyone would buy a three year package. Is your site ok now?

Webhostingpad are well worth trying. The price is the main reason I went with them. I’m now unsure if I should have paid more and got better features. I guess the old saying you get what you pay for!
Don’t get me wrong these guys offer great hosting they have just cut the features to be able to offer a low price.

Hi, I bought a 2 year account on web hosting pad and it IS THE WORST HOSTING PROVIDER IMAGINABLE. My website is down 60% of the time and when it is running, it is usually verrrry slow. The space and bandwidth is excellent, especially for the price, but if your site is down they can offer as much bandwidth and space they want and it will not matter. If you are doing more than just posting static .html files, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WEBHOSTING PAD. You will save yourself lots of money on aspirin.

I have been with Webhosting pad for almost a year now, they used to be good but they have been going down hill steadily.
Now, they have reached the bottom!!! Webhostingpad sucks as far as I am concerned.
I have not been able to get into my websites for 9 days now, and nobody at Webhostingpad or RVsitebuilder seems to be concerned, they keep telling me there is nothing wrong on their side.
That is there answer and they want nothing to do with the fact that I can not get into my 3 websites!!
I have asked for someone to call me to try and resolve this problem, neither company has done so, I have asked to talk to supervisors, neither company has done that either.
I am now going to cut my loses and transfer to another webhosting service.
If you don’t mind never being able to get onto your websites, then this is the company you should join!
Be aware of webhostingpad. They are a big scam.
webhostingpad is a good and cheap hosting in my opinion. I recommend this host if you want to start personal website and low volume blog. Otherwise I would recommend another big hosts such as lunarpages, bluehost.

I always like trying out new web hosting companies that are getting a name for themselves. The cheap price and advertising I have seen these guys do is what brought me to them. I have to say, I have really like their services overall. They appear to know what they are doing and have good customer support. You simply can’t find this type of service for this price anywhere else!
Webhostingpad is a life saver! I had a terrible web hosting company before these guys. I came to them out of desperation wanting to move to them. I sent their sales guys an email of desperation and they got back to me promptly. They helped me move over and I was back up and running with a better website than I had had before. The transition was smooth. They are great for anyone who is currently with a miserable web host at the moment.

Hmm not bad at all i used it when i started my network on internet.i had lot of experience with this one and i hope to continue their service in future.Great customer support and reliable hosting cost is all i can say about this service.i m almost satisfied with its service.Plans are nice and eye-catching.
I think Webhostingpad is amazing. When I found out how much their plans were for so many features I was shocked!! They are everything they say they are. For me, 100% uptime, great free consultation, extremely helpful 24/7 support, no hidden fees. Too bad some people didn’t get good service, but they haaave only been around since 05 so maybe they werent doing so hot in the beginning. Now they are just tops. I recommend Webhostingpad to everyone.
I got a free 30-minute session with their webmaster, and he helped me use my free Yahoo and Google credits so my site could get more recognition and traffic, which it did. Webhostingpad offers many services as great as this one, at such a ridiculously cheap price! No wonder they became so popular in such a short time. I love Webhostingpad.
My site was down a couple of times, but overall I haven’t had any major issues with them. It’s important to read their Terms of Use because they’re not really unlimited; they have guidelines, but basically so does every other hosting company. Best part of webhostingpad is definitely their customer support.
I signed up for 2 years with webhostingpad to get the best price per month. Their support answers quickly, but they tend to forget about me often, making the chat sessions unnecessarily long. The couple of phone calls I’ve made to them revealed that they only had one (or a few more) people answering phones - and I got the same guy on chat. He wasn’t helpful or friendly. When I chatted in (today even) with an issue adding domains, the chat “Technical Support Agent” answered that I had to email someone else. What’s the point of chat support?
During my first month (the month where you can get your money back if you’re not satisfied) my site was quick and I didn’t have any problems. After the first month, it got much much slower. I only use the site for a family website running wordpress, but it is almost unusable. I suspect they put the new accounts on the faster servers, and the older accounts (that are now stuck without an “out”) on the slower/more congested servers. Others have indicated likewise.
Before I was aware that it was not allowed to host copyrighted materials on their server (so, music, videos, etc) I uploaded my music library for remote access. After weeks of uploading on a slow DSL connection, my media folder is missing. Just gone. No warning from support, no email or anything. Gone. I called and chatted in, (getting the same guy of course), and he denied that there ever existed a media folder like I described. I understand them deleting a folder that breaks the TOS, but to say nothing about it and deny it vehemently, even though logs are available that indicate otherwise, is asinine.
Lastly, and most alarming, prompting me to spread the word on this terrible company, is the issue I experienced today. I had a folder titled “backup” where I placed a couple multi-volume rar-backups of some important documents. The files themselves were encrypted, along with their contents, so in no way could the company see their contents, so this was NOT against the TOS. Last month it was there, and my disk quota was around 1.7 TB I believe, very large. Today, my disk quota has been bumped down to 10GB, and my “backup” folder is completely gone. Brian Henson: This is level 1 technical support, as this livechat is meant for this, level 2 and three support is all emails that are directed to the datacenter.
Bradford: I’ll try to email them, but judging by the response I am getting now and the response I’ve received in the past, I don’t expect much. I am going to use this chat as an example on any webhosting review site I can find to show how poor your support is. Deleting large files and then denying it is piss-poor support, and probably criminal according to your TOS, though I’m sure you’ve covered your asses. I know you’re just a peon (I’ve worked support too) but please pass this on to your superiors.

I hope this serves as a warning to others. Please avoid this site, or at least start a month-to-month plan with them to get better service. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ANNUAL OR BI-ANNUAL.
When I called them to ask about their hosting service they gave me a very clear, detailed explanation. I ordered with no hidden fees and had my account set up in less than a day. Their server speed is very fast and uptime has been 100% as far as I see. Great cPanel. Webhostingpad has been excellent in every way.
Web hosting pad is so great! The support people are very friendly and helpful and setup was so fast, smooth, and easy. So far I haven’t had a single problem and was only impressed by how much they offer, and continue to offer, customers for a very good price. I wouldn’t go with any other company.
Web Hosting Pad has incredible prices for so much. I couldn’t believe I found such a good company. No hidden fees, a free site builder, 100% uptime in the past year. Definitely can’t find more for your money than with Web Hosting Pad! WHP, great job.
price and price. That is what I love about webhostingpad. I don’t care for uptimes and other technical stuff since I only want to have some personal sites where i can play with different stuff without thinking about money. once i become more professional, maybe then i will start looking for reliability , customer support bur for the time being i love the low prices.
I think the price is too good for what they are offering, and for that reason, they are eventually gonna come crashing down. Who can offer unlimited space + unlimited bandwidth for $3.95 a month? It just doesn’t work, to be fair.
I wouldn’t trust a seller like this, I’d trust someone to actually provides what they say they will, and I don’t think webhostingpad can do that.
My best friend has his hosting with WebHostingPad and he was satisfied with their service. I helped him set up his account and resolve some minor problems but this company seems to be a no thrill hosting company.
I used this host for a few months and I must say that their service is pretty lousy and their downtime is way too much. I also had problems with files that disappeared and got the same answer as above, “we didn’t do it”. There are too many low-priced hosts available that do the job better than this one.
This is such a great hosting company. Whenever I had a problem I just called it in and they helped me so much. Also I didn’t know hosting could be so cheap, and with the coupon I had, I saved so much more than if I’d gone with someone else. I’m very happy with Webhostingpad. Have had several problems over the years. If someone has a good experience I am very surprised. I cannot believe that they are hard to get a response from the service is not what it should be the price is ok, but this is one of those where you get what you pay for. I am not sure where they are but if they improved I would go back to them.
