Reliability (5/5)

FreeServers and MySite are powered by United Online’s fully redundant, state of the art data center. The facility house numerous high-performance servers and advanced systems to ensure that your website stays up and running. This includes sophisticated electrical systems, backup power systems, around the clock network monitoring and physical security. With high-speed internet connections, you can rest assured that your website will perform exceedingly well online.

Price Value (4/5)

Both FreeServers and MySite are nearly identical in terms of web hosting plans. For example, both offer free and premium packages. The major difference is that has the additional services such as domain registration and virtual private severs. For not a single penny, you can start building your web presence with 50 MB of disk space, 1 GB of monthly transfer and 3 email accounts. The major downside is that you will have to deal with third-party advertisements on your web pages. You get far more freedom with the Starter hosting package, which is as low as $3.95 per month. Some of the standout features of this plan include FrontPage extensions, poll scripts and a web-based file manager. Most importantly, there are no advertisements to deal with. You can also get Professional and Business hosting but these plans are somewhat pricey at $14.95 and $24.95 per month respectively.

Control Panel (4/5)

You are provided with an intuitive control panel whether you sign up for free web hosting or purchase a professional hosting account. Of course, the latter gives you the most power as you can manage your emails, access the file manager, view web stats and even build your site with the provider’s award-winning site builder. Depending on the package you select, you can also incorporate add-on programs such as the WordPress blogging perform. This control panel may not be the best available, but it does get the job done in regard to easy website management.

Customer Support (3/5)

Support is a vital aspect of any web hosting solution be it free or paid – both FreeServers and MyWebsite do a decent job in this department. We say decent because while toll-free phone and email support are available, the services lacks support tickets, live chat and self-help resources such as FAQs and knowledge bases, features that have pretty much become standard on the hosting market.

Overall Value (4/5)

Truthfully, there are far better deals out there than FreeServers and in terms of price and features. However, if you’re looking for a highly reliable service, both could make a nice option. These services are tried and tested as they currently aid millions of satisfied customers.

Build your web presence with You can start slowly with a free account or get a premium solution for as low as $3.95 per month, equipped with generous amounts of disk space and bandwidth, multiple email accounts and a free site builder.
